Capital Parklet
Capital Parklet is a tactical urbanism intervention completed for the AARP Livable Communities Challenge in Downtown Jackson.
-
The project transforms 4 parking spaces into a linear parklet in front of several restaurants along Congress Street. We worked with the city traffic engineer street to make the street one way, temporarily removing one lane of traffic to create more public gathering space. Tree wrote and recieved grants for the AARP Livable Communities Challenge. All funds went towards designing and building the parklet in Downtown.
