Oneline
Oneline is a 5 mile transit oriented development corridor that aims to connect business districts, institutions, and neighborhoods
-
The “Oneline” project is centered around a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system and Transit Oriented Development (TOD) corridor that extends from Fondren through Downtown to West Jackson. The neighborhoods located within the corridor contain universities and some of the largest employers including University of Mississippi Medical Center, Baptist Medical Center, Millsaps College, Belhaven University, and Jackson State University. The area is one of the most populated in areas in Mississippi of people working, living, and visiting. The project provides new infrastructure that prioritizes pedestrians, bicycles, bikeshare, ride hailing, electric scooters, and the bus rapid transit system. Tree help develop the project concept and co-authored the Federal Transit Authority grant proposal that provided City of Jacskon $1M to plan the project.
