Parham Bridges Park Master Plan
The Parham Bridges Park is a 36-acre park in the LeFleur East neighborhood providing a central recreational hub for Northeast Jackson. TREE developed a master plan to enhance park safety, beautification, and ecology.

Parham Bridges Park is one of Jackson’s largest and most actively maintained public parks, serving as a major recreational asset for surrounding neighborhoods and the broader city. Long-term care and stewardship of the park are supported through a Memorandum of Understanding with LeFleur East Foundation, a local neighborhood organization dedicated to the revitalization, programming, and upkeep of the park. This partnership has helped establish Parham Bridges Park as a model for community-led park management in Jackson.
TREE developed the Parham Bridges Park Master Plan in close collaboration with LeFleur East Foundation, local tennis groups, and onsite businesses to ensure the design reflects both daily use and long term community goals. The master plan includes expanded tennis courts, pickleball facilities, park golf, a new clubhouse, expanded walking trails, pedestrian bridges crossing Hanging Moss Creek, and a new stormwater retention pond designed to improve site drainage and landscape performance.
Additional improvements include a new perimeter fence and defined park gateways that allow the park to close during evening hours, supporting safety and long-term maintenance while maintaining welcoming access during operating times. Together, these elements strengthen the park’s role as a recreational destination while improving functionality, resilience, and stewardship.
TREE continues to work with the foundation and project partners to implement the master plan through a phased approach, aligning construction with funding, partnerships, and community priorities.
